My practice centres on alternative identity and personal history, through sculpture, installation, and text. Drawing on popular culture, philosophy and lived experience, I propose textiles as carriers of culture and identity, reconsidering the ways we think about femininity and belonging.
I am interested in how we adorn ourselves and our surroundings, particularly how colour and surface texture communicate identity and shape perception. More recently, this interest has extended to language. Informed by my earlier training in womenswear and tailoring, my approach combines ornamentation and vibrant palettes with labour-intensive textile manipulation. The works are often maximal in composition yet grounded in simple geometry.
I hold a BA in Fashion Design & Textiles from LASALLE College of the Arts. My works have also been exhibited internationally and are held in both public and private collections, including those of ASEAN, Singapore Art Museum and Christian Dior SE. Recent exhibitions include my solo presentations Welcome Back, Boo at Richard Koh Fine Art, and Decorative Disobedience at S.E.A. Focus 2026, and also the travelling Lady Dior Art exposition.
